The client knew a logo and print collateral were essential in creating event awareness. The key to this was to attract residents and businesses in the Brewery District on their way to and from work with colorful signage. The blue balloons signified which bars were stops along the barhop.
Start-up:
Development of the event branding: logo, colors, fonts, design elements, and messaging. The map was drawn digitally as it needed to be scaled to multiple sizes in future works. This included multiple versions, as well as subsequent drafts until a satisfactory final deliverable was reached.
Deliverables:
The final result was a set of printed promotional materials to post and mail around downtown Columbus. I visited 2 of the stops on the Brew Hop and was pleased to see the posters in the windows of each stop, as well as dozens of people who stopped for a drink after work.
